Thanks for visiting Anjurad Photo. I would like you to know a little about how Anjurad came to be.

I came to the UK in 1999 from Cape Town in South Africa. I am married to Emma and we have twin girls, Grace and Elizabeth. We live in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

My background has been in music and I have played both the trumpet and Jazz piano professionally.

The creativity and artistry that were the inspiration for my musical career are the same qualities that make me determined in my pursuit of excellence, driving me always to strive for outstanding quality and continuous improvement with my photography.

As I found with my music, having talent is not enough on its own and I have worked hard to get to the point where I am confident that with my uncompromising attention to detail and determination always to ‘get it right’ I can produce truly original and beautiful portraits.

My constant endeavour is to produce portraits that my clients will be truly delighted with. I suppose that you could say, once an artist, always an artist and whether it is music or photography, only excellence will do!

So what started as an interest is now a profession that I am passionate about. My style and approach offer something unique, different and exclusive.
